Equipment I Use
|
| Camera |
Canon EOS 5D. I love the full size sensor. No multiplier factor. Excellent noise performance as well. |
| 50mm and 28mm |
Prime lens's still produce excellent image quality and fine bokeh. |
| 100-400mm L |
Heavy lens, but great quality. |
| 24-105mm L |
Nice general purpose lens. |
| 70-200mm |
Good general purpose telephoto. |
| 17-35mm L |
Excellent super wide zoom. |
| Extension tubes |
When you have to get really close. |
| Remote control |
Wireless, very handy. |
| Cable release |
Don't shake the camera when you press the shutter. |
| Gretag Color Chart |
To get accurate color under any light I always shoot a picture of the color chart. It makes color balancing much easier later. |
| EOS 550EX |
I have 3 flashes. Set one as a master and other two as slaves. They provides lots of illumination. |
| Memory |
A little stack of 1G and 2G CF cards. It isn't good to run out of "film". |
| Batteries |
Always carry a spare or two, especially in cold weather as LiIon batteries don't like being cold. I keep one in a warm pocket and switch them as necessary. |
| Hakuba Grip |
Very handy. It lets you attach the camera to one hand and is especially useful for sports events. The camera is impossible to drop. |
